Navigating support programs can be overwhelming. We've compiled the resources below to help community members find the assistance they need.
Many state and local programs are subsidized in part by the Federal Government. Given the unpredictable climate, some programs listed may be operating at limited capacity. TEO will do its best to keep this page updated with the most recent information.
Depending on the size of your family and your combined gross annual income, you may be eligible to receive a discounted rate for your gas and electric service.
You may qualify for the Discount Rate Program if you meet the following criteria:
- Household income does not exceed 60% of state median income level
- Residential customer (primary dwelling only)
- Head of household or principal wage earner
- Electric or gas bill is in your name
- TAFDC
- EAEDC
- SNAP
- Mass Health (DMA)
- Mass Health (Comm. for the Blind)
- Mass Health (DTA)
- School Breakfast / Lunch
- Head Start
- Home Energy Assistance (Fuel Assistance)
- Veterans Chapter 115
- Veterans Non-Service Pension / DIC
- Supplemental Social Security (SSI)
- Public / Subsidized Housing
Contact Customer Service to confirm eligibility and begin enrollment. A Discount Rate Application will be mailed to you to complete and return.
